Forever

Well it's been forever since my last post so this is going to be a long one. Life has been crazy for the past few months but full of lots of fun adventures. Unfortunatley I only have pictures of Taupo to share but thoroughly enjoyed all of our month of March visitors even though we have no pictures to prove it.

Connie and Art arrived the day after my birthday and we spent a wonderful weekend with them walking through River Oaks and checking out a few of the mansions on the spring time Azalea tour. Lots of good food was eaten and it was wonderful to spend time with everyone.

Next my mom arrived just in time to surprise my sister for her birthday lunch. A good surprise is always fun. Not sure who's next on the Yarnall Family birthday surprise list, will it be myself or Daddy?!? We spent an amazing ten days with Mommy, she kept her little grandpuppy Taupo entertained and exhausted for days while we worked and she even took her vacation to help Aly and I both clean our houses. We did take her out for some fun including a day at the rodeo and we had a lovely tour of the Bayou Bend Gardens one afternoon. We squeezed in a girls night out to CPK in honor of Grandma Marge who we miss dearly during times like these :)

Then Linda and Mike arrived!!! We had a fun family night while Mommy was still here and everyone pitched in to make a wonderful dinner. The next few days were spent touring the city and checking out the rodeo. It was so great to have them here to see our homes and meet their grandgod dogs. Can't wait for the next visit :)

After all those visits we took a few weekends to just relax but things have already charged ahead full speed with Triathalon season kicking off here in Houston(which = me working weekends at events)and Tim working hard at work as he always does. Teaching is going great, very challenging at times but also very rewarding. I would say I have learned a ton and I will definatley be better at it the second time around.

Last but not least Taupo has now been neutered (sad no stud fees for the little guy and my dreams of a corgi-poo are over) and has graduated from puppy school (he was not a star on graduation day and barely passed the final exam but we are still working hard to get this stubborn little man to be better behaved all the time, not just when he decides to be).

He was very unphased by the neutering experience but here are some funny pictures of him as a cone head (he was NOT a fan).

Great photos and update - I love the grandgod-dogs moniker. :)
